In the neighbor's backyard stands this beautiful tree, which I can see from our living room window. Thursday morning the sun gave it a golden glow. The small branches make the tree look like a wooden nervous system.

Ever-changing painting

Since Linda and I moved in our current appartment two years ago, I love watching the sky. It's an ever-changing painting that keeps me fascinated. Especially in early mornings or on cloudy days. In the house we lived before this one, we had the curtains closed most of the time because looking out the window you'd look straight into the homes of the neighbors living opposite from us. In the new house, we can look out either at the park at the front or the schoolyard at the back and the sky, which makes me a lot happier.

Alien creature

Actually, this is a turnip. But I think it looks kinda scary. It could be alien being, with little tentacles that attach to your face before implanting it's eggs or something. Also, I have no idea how to prepare one of these for consumption. But then, I never was a Jamie Oliver.

De Fabeltjeskrant

Een tijd geleden kreeg ik van vrienden Johan en Monique deze vintage beschuitbus van de Fabeltjeskrant. Daar hou ik van: nuttige cadeautjes die ook nog eens leuk staan. Ik was als kind een groot fan van de Fabelteskrant. Stiekem ben ik dat natuurlijk nog steeds. De foto is trouwens gemaakt door Linda, want van instagramfilters heb ik geen kaas gegeten.
